Responsibilities
Design and maintain cloud‐native infrastructure on AWS using Terraform for infrastructure as code
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline
Administer Linux systems for availability, performance, security hardening, and compliance
Develop automation scripts in Bash, Python, or PowerShell for provisioning, monitoring, and operations
Configure and manage AWS networking, including VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, and IAM roles
Apply DevSecOps practices to integrate security controls and testing into the delivery pipeline
Monitor and troubleshoot production systems using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies to plan, deliver, and continuously improve
Support accreditation and compliance activities aligned to NIST, RMF, and FedRAMP
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to standards, runbooks, and best practices
Qualification
Required
Active Top Secret security clearance
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Mid‐level: Five or more years in cloud development, DevOps, or related roles
Senior‐level: Eight or more years in cloud development, DevOps, or related roles
Hands‐on AWS experience with services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, encryption, and related components
Strong Terraform experience for infrastructure as code
CI/CD pipeline implementation using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline
Proficiency in Linux administration for security, optimization, and high availability
Scripting proficiency in Bash, Python, or PowerShell
Networking knowledge for VPC design, subnets, security groups, IAM roles, and encryption policies
Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and integrating security into delivery pipelines
Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting using CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana
Experience working within Agile/Scrum processes
Knowledge of NIST, RMF, and FedRAMP compliance and accreditation support
Preferred
Experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration on AWS (EKS/ECS)
Experience with AWS CloudFormation or CDK alongside Terraform
Exposure to classified cloud regions or AWS GovCloud
