Responsibilities

Own end-to-end market + alt data pipelines: ingestion → normalisation → storage → distribution
Build systems where the trade-offs matter: latency vs reliability vs downstream usability
Deliver a platform with quality, lineage, integrity, timeliness, and observability built in
Lead onboarding of new vendor + internal sources, acting as a technical partner to quants, traders and ops
Maintain and optimise high availability / low-latency infrastructure used globally
Step into a lead / platform ownership role — starting as a senior IC, expanding into responsibility for engineers and elements of strategy
This role is designed for someone who wants to be an owner, not a pipeline maintainer

Required

Strong ETL / pipeline engineering experience building real systems (not BI / analytics tooling)
Market data depth — experience with tick-level / real-time feeds / vendor data complexities
Strong Python + SQL, solid engineering fundamentals, clean architecture thinking
Good judgement around data normalisation, lineage, schema design, downstream consumers
Experience supporting production systems with performance + reliability expectations

Preferred

Multi-asset derivatives exposure (rates, FX, credit, equities)
Background blend of sell-side + buy-side (but strong vendor / sell-side engineers considered)
