Responsibilities

Train and provide technical guidance to other district, CSSF accounting personnel and SCOE departmental accounting personnel

Process County auditor apportionments and journals

Perform oversight of fiscal evaluation for assigned districts and funds

Perform complex statistical analysis of financial data

Prepare State and departmental reports detailing the results

Develop and utilize analytical tools and models for the analysis of data

Provide recommendations based on sound fiscal detail to management

Qualification

Required

Associate's degree in accounting, bookkeeping or related field

Four years increasingly responsible related accounting experience

At least two years of governmental fund accounting experience

Experience with advanced techniques in the use of computerized spreadsheets

A combination of education, training, and experience that could provide the desired skills, knowledge and abilities may be considered
