Responsibilities
Deliver geotechnical designs for a wide range of infrastructure projects—including bridges, roadways, dams, levees, and foundation systems—ranging from basic to complex
Review and approve design drafts to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and internal quality standards
Conduct site visits and studies to align project execution with DOT standards and local practices
Perform soil sampling, analysis, and modeling, contributing technical insight to white papers and industry publications
Support business development by collaborating on proposals, meeting with clients, and representing the firm at industry events
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in civil engineering or a related field
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
At least 8+ years' experience in geotechnical engineering
