Metasys Technologies is a company seeking a Digital Printer Operator. The primary responsibility of this role is to operate high-speed digital production printers and perform associated tasks to ensure efficient production.

Responsibilities

Operate high-speed digital production printer
Load paper, clear jams, and unload printed materials
Perform occasional post-processing tasks (e.g., binding, shrink-wrapping)
Assist with day-to-day duties such as: + Moving paper + Stuffing envelopes + Packing cartons
Maintain good attendance and adhere to assigned schedule
Possibility of full-time employment based on performance, attendance, and attitude

Required

High school diploma or GED
Basic computer skills
Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Understanding of shipping/receiving procedures
Ability to work independently and flexibly
Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals and publications
Ability to determine correct packing methods and verify packing slips
Ability to follow mail delivery instructions
Ability to communicate fluently in English (verbal and written)
Ability to provide excellent customer service
Must be able to walk, bend, twist, and stand for entire shift in a warehouse environment
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
Must be able to work without accommodations

Preferred

1–2 years of related work experience
Experience in printing or mailing industry
Working knowledge of copiers and related equipment
Basic electronics knowledge
