Responsibilities
Act as the primary developer for Collibra Data Quality implementations across business areas
Design, develop, and deploy DQ rules, validations, scoring logic, match patterns, profiling routines, thresholds, and monitoring pipelines within CDQ
Configure and optimize DQ dashboards, scorecards, workflows, exception queues, and performance metrics to support operational adoption
Implement end-to-end data quality profiling, automated monitoring, and exception/issue management capabilities across datasets and domains
Create reusable rule libraries, templates, and standards to support scalable governance and consistent rule deployment
Work closely with Data Stewards, Data Owners, and Governance Analysts to translate business-quality requirements into technical Collibra DQ configurations
Integrate CDQ with enterprise data platforms, metadata systems, and governance tools to ensure connected lineage and consistent quality signals
Produce and maintain technical design documents, deployment guides, operational runbooks, and training materials
Assess when and how to leverage Informatica Cloud DQ or other tooling alongside Collibra CDQ for complementary use cases
Provide technical guidance, code review, and best-practice mentorship to governance, data engineering, and analytics teams
Qualification
Required
Advanced, hands-on development experience with Collibra Data Quality (CDQ), including building, customizing, and deploying rules, validations, pipelines, and DQ workflows in enterprise environments
Deep knowledge of data quality dimensions (completeness, accuracy, validity, timeliness, consistency) and ability to translate them into Collibra DQ logic, scoring methodologies, and rule frameworks
Proven experience designing and implementing DQ rulesets, scoring thresholds, exception handling patterns, and automated monitoring jobs
Strong capability to operationalize data quality processes, integrating business requirements into scalable CDQ configurations and repeatable technical solutions
Hands-on expertise configuring and optimizing DQ dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, metrics, and alerting, ensuring measurable and visible outcomes
Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams—Data Stewards, Data Owners, DB engineers, governance teams—to convert rules into production-ready DQ logic
Ability to work autonomously in fast-paced, multi-team environments, delivering high-quality DQ components on tight timelines
Experience educating or supporting business users by explaining DQ rules, exceptions, and CDQ results in non-technical terms
Preferred
Experience implementing or supporting data quality / governance initiatives within regulated industries (e.g., banking, capital markets, healthcare)
Familiarity with broader Collibra ecosystem components such as Catalog, Governance Center, Workflow, and Lineage
Hands-on exposure to Informatica Cloud Data Quality (ICDQ) or similar enterprise data quality tools
Background in metadata-driven testing, semantic quality frameworks, data profiling, lineage analysis, or DQ automation
