Responsibilities
Managing projects, which involves resource demand management, determining project deliverables and timelines, developing a project plan and managing to the plan, coordinating and leading meetings, preparing meeting minutes and status reports
Working with team members to resolve issues
Coordinating activities of a project team which may include individuals from multiple teams, departments and locations
Manage and deliver assigned projects to agreed timescales, budgets and quality standards
Supporting project teams throughout the project lifecycle
Must demonstrate skills in negotiation and facilitation techniques
Mentoring team members
Supporting Project Management methodologies
Qualification
Required
Understanding of Life Insurance product life cycle, with a focus on the financial systems associated with product support
Understanding of Life Insurance Product pricing, commission and reporting elements
5+ years of related work experience
Advanced experience using MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Advanced experience using Structured Project Portfolio Tools
Solid understanding of Project Management methodologies
Strong organizational skills (planning, prioritizing) and communication skills (written, verbal, listening)
Working knowledge of IT infrastructure and its impact on business services
General understanding of the insurance and financial services industry
Preferred
PRINCE2, PMI (PMP), Agile project management certification
