Responsibilities
Actively identify, pursue, and win new business with public-sector clients across Tampa Bay, Southwest Florida, and surrounding markets
Build and expand a personal book of business in water resources, stormwater, and civil infrastructure
Serve as a trusted advisor to municipal, county, and agency clients
Lead proposal strategy, positioning, teaming, and interviews
Provide senior-level technical oversight and project management on key pursuits and delivery projects
Manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality across multiple projects
Mentor engineers and help grow a high-performing regional team
Play a visible role in shaping the regional growth strategy and market expansion
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months
8+ years of experience delivering public-sector engineering projects
Demonstrated success in business development, client relationship management, and winning work
Strong proposal leadership, budgeting, and project financial management experience
Ability to balance business development, leadership, and technical oversight
Preferred
Established relationships with Florida public-sector clients (municipalities, counties, utilities, agencies)
Stormwater, water resources, flood resilience, or civil infrastructure focus
Managing and mentoring engineering teams
Stormwater master planning and/or construction oversight
