Supervising staff accountants
Preparing journal entries
Reviewing monthly financial information
Reporting results
Ensuring adequate internal controls, including end user computer applications controls, are designed and effectively implemented
Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts and comparisons to actual results

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration
CPA or equivalent qualification

Understanding of internal control concepts
Self-confidence, critical thinking, ability to influence, ability to work independently and willingness to work extended hours (if necessary)
High level of time management and organizational skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred

Experience with data analysis tools is an asset
