StartProto AI Manufacturing OS is seeking a Customer Success Specialist (Solutions Engineer) to partner with manufacturing customers for successful implementations of their AI Manufacturing OS. This role involves translating shop floor processes into scalable workflows, building integrations, and shaping documentation to enhance customer success.

Responsibilities

Serve as the trusted technical partner from pre-sale through ongoing adoption, guiding implementations and field-ready solutions

Translate customer shop floor processes into StartProto workflows and integrations with MES, MRP, CRM, ERP, and other systems

Collaborate with customers to define success metrics, capture requirements, and deliver targeted outcomes (e.g., time-to-value, data accuracy, process automation)

Build and maintain technical documentation, playbooks, and best-practice guides to scale customer success efforts

Provide hands-on support during deployments, pilot programs, and post-implementation optimization

Influence product direction by collecting customer feedback, identifying gaps, and communicating needs to the product and engineering teams

Travel to customer sites as needed (approximately 50%), with expenses covered

Required

3–5 years of software development experience in TypeScript or Python

Worked directly with customers in a support or success capacity

Understand manufacturing workflows and the operational realities of data-center battery/large UPS manufacturers (Phoenix, AZ and Buffalo, NY locations)
