Responsibilities

Support an ongoing initiative to exit on-premises U.S. data centers by March/April (with strong potential for extension due to project scope and holidays)

Analyze and understand existing on-prem network architectures and security policies to accurately replicate and prepare equivalent designs in AWS

Collaborate with the migration "factory” team to plan, execute, and support large-scale application and server migration waves

Configure, support, and optimize Cisco and Nexus switching and routing environments

Engineer and support F5 load balancers and Fortinet firewall solutions in the on-prem environment

Design and implement AWS cloud networking components to support secure, scalable, and resilient application deployments

Provide application-aware network support to ensure performance, reliability, and successful cutovers

Participate in and support critical migration events, including potential off-hours and occasional weekend work for high-impact applications

Deliver 24–48 hours of post-cutover support following migration events to ensure stability and rapid issue resolution

Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams and stakeholders in a fast-paced, aggressive delivery environment

Operate independently with minimal oversight; proactively identify risks, issues, and remediation paths

Datacenter Networking with Cisco switches routers

Cloud networking specifically AWS

Load balancer Firewall Experience to support application rules

Proven senior-level experience as a Network Engineer supporting complex, large-scale enterprise environments

Hands-on experience with Cisco and Nexus switching/routing

Hands-on experience with F5 Load Balancers

Hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls (on-prem)

Strong background in application-aware networking and troubleshooting across infrastructure and application layers

Demonstrated experience with AWS networking and cloud platforms, including designing and supporting cloud-based infrastructures for migrated workloads

Prior experience supporting large-scale migration programs (data center to cloud highly preferred)

Ability to operate in a fast-paced, aggressive project environment with multiple parallel workstreams

Self-sufficient, detail-oriented, and capable of immediate contribution—this role is not intended for junior or training-level candidates

Excellent communication skills and ability to work with distributed teams across U.S. time zones
