Early Works Program Manager
Microsoft is looking for an Early Works Program Manager to support the development and delivery of their datacenter portfolio. This role involves managing early works projects, engaging with stakeholders, and ensuring timely execution of procurement activities for datacenter campus sites.

Responsibilities
Develop and manage LDC Early Works Projects to ensure timely execution of all procurement activities associated with resourcing and materials necessary for delivering Early Works projects on time and within project budget forecasts
Preparation of requests for proposals, review and approve vendor scope of work, and monitor vendor performance by ensuring compliance with contracts and prior audit results
Create lessons learned register and apply best practices for driving cost-effective solutions to deliver pad ready sites and monitor turnover and warranty for completed Early Works sites
Coordination of internal Microsoft stakeholders and external contractors, vendors, and resources as required for project delivery
Reviews and assists with developing risk mitigation activities and communicating metrics, dashboards and/or scorecards to track and drive progress
Assists with the monitoring of vendor and/or contractor performance, ensuring compliance with contracts and prior audit results
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years related experience OR equivalent experience
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years related experience OR equivalent experience
7+ years experience working on data center projects
Demonstrated background in project management and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to drive desired outcomes
Demonstrated general knowledge and experience with a broad variety of construction means and methods
Experience with the contracting and delivery of large programs of works
Experience managing a portfolio of projects and associated budgets and schedules
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain cross-functional and positive working relationships with internal and external teams
