Responsibilities

Assist engineering and manufacturing in driving improvements in quality and delivery performance through process control and product improvement initiatives

Participate in plant tours, seminars, networking events, and speaker training

Complete a project selected to add direct value to the business and present it to plant managers, supervisors, and mentors

Required

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program from an accredited institution

Minimum completion of Sophomore level coursework from an accredited institution

Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position

This position entails access to export-controlled items you must be able to lawfully obtain access to such items

Preferred

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Materials Science & Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Ceramic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited institution

Seeking strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent analytical and organization skills, and ability to work in a self-directed or team environment

Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing a plus

Relevant internship/work/research experience preferred
