Responsibilities
Proven experience and track record in identifying, developing and maintaining prospective business relationships to establish recurring sources of referrals and ensure a quality pipeline of mortgage originations
Strong ability to identify and analyze potential loan markets and stay current on industry trends
Demonstrated knowledge and expertise of real estate lending, including lending programs, policies, secondary market and regulatory compliance requirements
Proven ability to conduct interviews with prospective borrowers, perform credit and financial analysis and oversee the application process, ensuring a high level of accuracy and that member needs are met
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to educate members on the process and available products and services, all while ensuring exceptional member services throughout
Showcases strong diplomacy and ability to build and maintain relationships
Qualification
Required

At least three years of real estate lending and loan origination experience required
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate that they have the legal right to work in the US and pass a background screening to the satisfaction of Oregon State Credit Union
Preferred
Secondary market investor underwriting and guideline experience preferred
Three years of experience in field sales where lead generation is the prime source of business is highly preferred
