Responsibilities
Install and service automated equipment at customer sites
Travel to customer sites primarily in the US and Canada
Troubleshoot complex systems and diagnose machine issues by plugging into a PLC and analyzing the code
Qualification
Required
Strong electrical, software, and mechanical skills
Comfortable working independently
Ability to communicate with customers
Adaptable
Enjoy travel
Ability to troubleshoot complex systems
PLC experience (ideally Allen Bradley, Beckhoff is a plus)
Ladder logic
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose machine issues by plugging into a PLC and analyzing the code
2+ years of relevant experience, ideally in a similar field service role or with traveling responsibilities
Preferred
Experience with programming
Customer-facing skills
A 2-year tech degree in electronics, mechatronics, or controls
