Operations Engineer III

Responsibilities

Provide engineering and project management expertise for internal and external customers, including planning, design, development, evaluation, implementation, modification, and documentation of projects
Lead and coordinate efforts among consultants, management, and site operations; guide stakeholders; and drive successful project outcomes
Develop engineering standards, research emerging technologies, and serve as a training resource in areas of expertise
Lead full-cycle project execution: create and manage budgets and schedules, oversee contractors and contracts, allocate resources, and ensure successful delivery from inception to completion
Manage stakeholder relationships with clients, contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and government agencies while guiding teams and site operations
Apply strong engineering and detail oriented practices, including reviewing as built conditions, maintaining punchlists, and ensuring compliance with grid codes, protection coordination, interconnection requirements, environmental permits, and regulatory standards
Maintain document control (transmittals, submittals, revisions) and provide on site leadership, supervision, and coordination as needed to support operations and business continuity

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering
Four years or more related engineering experience PLUS a Professional Engineer license OR Fifteen years or more of related engineering experience
A master's degree in engineering may be equivalent for up to one year of related experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills required to establish and maintain positive working relationships
