Hyatt is a leading hospitality brand seeking a strategic, media-savvy leader for the role of Director, Corporate Reputation Communications. This position is responsible for shaping and delivering the company's narrative to external stakeholders, focusing on brand reputation and impact.

Responsibilities

Expertise in corporate media relations, prioritizing global business media and industry media
Leading strategy and execution for executive visibility with the company’s leadership (including social media presence), prioritizing members of the C-suite
Implementing measurement for initiatives and brand reputation, with a bias for experimentation
Fluency in the company’s commercial performance and key business drivers
Close collaboration with Investor Relations, Crisis Communications and World of Care teams on external storytelling
Managing one direct report

Required

10+ years of experience in corporate communications, media relations, or executive visibility roles
Strong track record of earned media placements and media relationship building, especially in corporate, purpose-driven, or trade sectors
Demonstrated ability to craft compelling corporate narratives and translate complex topics into accessible, emotionally resonant messages
Experience managing communications around business performance and brand purpose platforms
Skilled at working across global, matrixed organizations and collaborating with senior leadership
Strong writing, editing, and strategic thinking skills
Experience managing and mentoring communications professionals
Strong familiarity with performance measurement tools for media and digital content
Ability and willingness to travel internationally as required (15-25%)

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field
