Human Resources College Aide
The New York City Office of Technology & Innovation (OTI) leverages technology to improve public services across New York City. They are seeking a College Aide to provide administrative support to the Human Resources Division, offering hands-on experience in HR operations and collaboration with various HR teams.
Information Technology
Responsibilities
Support the HR team in various ad hoc projects, such as conducting research, preparing presentations, and analyzing data
Assist in creating, updating, and maintaining internal records, databases, Excel spreadsheets, and SharePoint files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
Assist with updating policy and bulletin documents
Support with the new hire onboarding process by verifying applicant details such as employment, education, and dates
Assist with the performance management and review process
Perform and complete special projects and initiatives as assigned
Qualification
Required
Matriculation at an accredited college or graduate school. Employment is conditioned upon continuance as a student in a college or graduate school
Preferred
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Excellent organizational and planning
Excellent work ethic, time management, and multi-tasking ability
Intermediate Excel skills and is proficient in Microsoft 365
Work well independently and in a small team setting, and pays close attention to details
