5+ years expApex Systems is seeking a Google Cloud Platform Platform Engineer to support the design and documentation of Google Cloud Platform architecture standards with one of their consulting clients. This role will work closely with the platform solution architect and the client's enterprise architecture team to ensure alignment and readiness for build.

Responsibilities
Architecture Documentation: Define and document Google Cloud Platform design standards, logical architectures, user groups, and best practices
Enterprise Alignment: Collaborate with the client's enterprise architecture team to confirm and gain approval for the proposed Google Cloud Platform platform architecture
Data & Infrastructure Mix: Provide expertise across both data and infrastructure components to ensure a holistic platform design
Transition to Build: Once architecture is approved, assist in moving the platform into the build phase
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or architecture, with strong Google Cloud Platform exposure
Experience in documenting technical standards and working with enterprise architecture teams
Strong understanding of both infrastructure and data components in cloud environments
Preferred
Broad knowledge of Google Cloud Platform resources and services (compute, storage, networking, IAM, data services, etc.)
Ability to support platform solution architects in refining and validating architecture designs
Familiarity with cloud governance, security best practices, and enterprise architecture principles
