Responsibilities
Handle Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases from initial consultation through resolution
Draft and file motions, briefs, and other legal documents relevant to bankruptcy proceedings
Conduct thorough discovery processes to gather and analyze necessary information
Represent clients in court hearings and other legal proceedings
Provide expert legal advice to clients regarding bankruptcy options and strategies
Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and ensure compliance with legal standards
Stay updated on bankruptcy laws and regulations to provide accurate guidance
Negotiate on behalf of clients to reach favorable resolutions in bankruptcy cases
Manage case files and maintain detailed records of all legal activities
Qualification
Required
Must hold a valid license to practice law
Minimum of 5 years of experience handling consumer bankruptcy cases
Advanced knowledge of Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy laws
Proficiency in drafting motions, briefs, and other legal documentation
Strong skills in conducting discovery and litigation processes
Solid understanding of civil litigation practices
Effective communication and negotiation abilities
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
