Early Career Program – Center for Urban Transformation, Sports and 24-Hour Economy
The World Economic Forum is expanding its work on the Experience Economy, focusing on sports and the 24-Hour Economy to drive economic development and community impact. They are seeking an Early Career Programme trainee to support community building, convenings, content development, and cross-Forum coordination for these initiatives.

Responsibilities
Support day-to-day coordination across the sports and 24-Hour Economy workstreams, including communication and alignment with teams across the Forum, tracking timelines and deliverables, and providing general project management support to ensure smooth execution of activities
Support outreach to existing partners and potential stakeholders across business, government, sports federations and leagues, and civil society
Assist with maintaining partner relationships, tracking engagement, and supporting ongoing community management activities
Support the curation, development, and delivery of convenings and events
This includes maintaining a convenings calendar, supporting agenda development, and providing administrative and logistical support before, during, and after meetings
Support the curation and development of content, including briefing notes, session materials, and summaries
Assist with planning and maintaining a calendar of content releases aligned with key milestones and convenings
Qualification
Required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are an asset
Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Demonstrated ability to support stakeholder management and coordinate with internal teams and external partners
Interest in sport, cities, culture, the experience economy, or community and economic development, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, international environment
