Responsibilities

Audit payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance

Prepare financial statements, statistical reports, and schedules to provide a clear summary of the organization's financial status

Perform monthly reconciliations, journal entries, inventory tracking, and sales reporting while preparing documentation for annual audits

Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date

Maintain and update financial software systems to support organizational needs

Manage fleet administration, including driver eligibility, insurance updates, fuel cards, and vehicle documentation

Support company insurance policies by assisting with renewals and responding to incidents

Monitor daily cash flow and bank transfers, and reconcile complex bank accounts

Provide guidance and support for accounting technician tasks as required

Review and monitor accounting policies to ensure compliance with financial management principles and internal controls

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent education and experience, with a minimum of five years in general accounting, payroll, and reconciliations

Proven ability to manage workloads effectively and meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision

Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop

Minimum of seven years of experience in accounting roles, including month-end close, general ledger management, and financial audits
