Treasury Management Business Development Officer
Peoples State Bank is seeking a Treasury Management Business Development Officer to drive the growth of their treasury management services. This role involves working closely with corporate clients to provide tailored solutions that enhance liquidity and improve operational efficiency, while also expanding the treasury management portfolio and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
Develop new business Treasury relationships by offering appropriate solutions to customer needs. Understand the client's business environment, strategies, and industry to provide the best solution for their situation. Manage a portfolio of treasury management clients
Promote sales through frequent client meetings and discussions covering new products, market, and industry developments. Evaluate customer needs, recommend banking products, and coordinate implementation of Treasury Management products
Manage the sales process to include proposal creation and implementation
Collaborate with commercial bankers to cross sell Peoples State Bank's treasury management products and services such as ACH origination, remote deposit capture, sweeps and merchant services. Develop a strategic sales plan in coordination with commercial bankers and maintain an active call program for prospective new customers
Ensure timely and accurate pipeline reporting to the Treasury Management Manager. Input and update treasury pipeline activity for the Treasury Management Manager in the customer relationship management program
Assist with the communication of price adjustments to customers
Resolve treasury management service issues as needed, servicing solution
Maintain a working knowledge of compliance, bank loan policy and related banking regulations
Participate in community events and activities to support Pride in Peoples
Assist in training and guidance to the treasury and cash management team
This role may have supervisor responsibilities. If overseeing a team, perform a full range of supervisory/managerial duties of the commercial team including complete adherence to all policies and practices of the bank and its applicable regulatory and governmental agencies
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or associate degree in finance and/or 5-10 years prior sales experience in related field
Prior experience with banking or finance industry software a plus
Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to build relationships and close deals
Must be innovative, well organized, attentive to detail and analytical
Ability to analyze financial data, assess client needs, and develop tailored solutions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present information to clients and colleagues
Ability to meet deadlines
Working knowledge of computers and software with the ability to quickly learn new technology
Good written communication skills including proofreading and editing skills
Demonstrated ability to use discretion, tact, and diplomacy, and a 'professional' personal appearance, when dealing with customers and co-workers
Ability to work independently and execute objectives
Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work within a group setting
Must be willing to travel on a regular basis
