Director of Security Operations 1 (Investigations and Insider Threat)

Responsibilities
Lead and manage an enterprise security investigations and insider threat program, ensuring compliance with relevant federal laws, DoD directives, and customer requirements
Overseeing timely reporting with regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders
Develop processes to monitor, report, and track security incident and investigation trends
Serve as a liaison for investigations and threat intelligence with federal agencies, including DCSA, FBI, AFOSI, NCIS, IC, and DoD security agencies
Lead investigations and insider threat working groups integrating stakeholders across multiple business sectors, divisions, and business units
Establish partnerships with government and industry to collaborate on best practices and threat intelligence
Provide regular presentations to senior leadership and government stakeholders
Utilize expertise in program management, policy, and contractual requirements governing investigations, personnel security, and information assurance to ensure compliance
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure program consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness
Effective people skills and ability to develop and mentor high-performance teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 years of law-enforcement, security, and investigations experience; OR Master's degree with a minimum of 10 years of law-enforcement, security, and investigations experience
Candidates must have at least 10 years of experience in leading and managing investigations supporting national industrial security programs
Candidates must have a current DOD Top Secret level security clearance (at a minimum) and must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, SCI level access as a condition of continued employment
Must be willing to undergo polygraph and extensive background checks for clearance and access eligibility
Prior experience and demonstrated knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program
Preferred
Master's degree in criminal justice, national security, law, or related field
Program management experience, including budgeting, reporting, and strategic planning
Prior experience in law, law enforcement, counterintelligence, executive protection, employee relations, physical security, cybersecurity, risk management, and business resiliency
Demonstrated understanding of security requirements supporting dynamic business units that support high-value contracts across a wide US Government customer spectrum
Knowledge of processes related to classified contract management, program security, counterintelligence awareness, supply chain security, compliance with government standards, COMSEC, workplace violence prevention, security awareness, asset protection, access control, badge and identification, and ITAR and export related security measures
