Eaton’s Power Components Division is currently seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer. The role involves leading new product introductions and driving the development of advanced Meters, Relays, and Communication products, taking ownership of hardware engineering projects from initial customer proposal through production launch.

Responsibilities

Develop system electronics for Energy and Power Quality Metering and Power Distribution Communication products

Contribute technically while managing tasks and project deliverables

Design and develop specifications and essential performance for electronic systems

Design and test complex analog and digital circuits

Architect and design products ranging from microcontrollers to multi-core processors

Collaborate with electronic suppliers and development partners to manage external design and manufacturing activities

Provide direction and mentorship to team membersManage multiple projects and priorities, adapting as business needs evolve

Partner with marketing, project managers, and cross-functional teams to translate customer requirements into product specifications

Coordinate activities with suppliers, contractors, and consultants

Work with industrialization teams and suppliers to establish project schedules and budgets, monitor progress, and take corrective actions as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited institution
