Manager-Absence Management
WellSpan Health is seeking a Manager for Absence Management to define the strategy and business processes for the Oracle Absence Management module within their Human Capital Management suite. The role involves leading technical development, enhancing system strategies, and providing guidance on changes related to Absence Management.
Responsibilities
Technical development, enhancement, and ongoing support of the Oracle Absence Management suite
Responsible for leading in the definition of systems strategy, documenting business requirements, reviewing fit-gap analysis, business process designs, functional configuration, testing, user training
Provide guidance on changes within the sub-systems and integrations due to Absence management changes and system landscape changes
Provide leadership and own defining end-to-end overall business processes
Collaborate with team members and other business process leads to approve WellSpan's future core business processes
Support the execution of key change management activities within Absence Management
Make timely decisions pertinent to the Absence business process designs, sign-off on functional design, change management plan and test plan
Make timely decisions pertinent to Absence business processes, taking cross-functional areas (UKG/Payroll/EHS/Population Health etc.) into considerations
Continue to champion change within the Absence Management area
Provide leadership support in resolving Absence issues and mitigating risks and the development of training material
Participate and provide leadership during conversion, UAT and SIT cycles
Partner with key super users to develop and evolve the applications within the suite while ensuring a stable, productive environment
Effectively can embrace and lead change, with the ability to lead or work with and on multi-disciplinary teams
Motivates team members, system leadership and system end users
Qualification
Required
Bachelors Degree HR Management, Business, Information Technology or related field
Experience working with HCM/ERP such as Lawson or Oracle
3 years Experience working with or designing business processes in Absence Management: PTO, Sick Leave plans, LOA, Eligibility, Disability, Return to work, Interfaces, Workflow, Reporting and Data Conversions
SDLC or Agile methodology experience
Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments
Ability to successfully develop staff
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong analytical skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills as well as strong time management skills a must
Preferred
Masters Degree HR Management, Business, Information Technology or related field
