Responsibilities
Oversee facility operations, including opening and closing, reporting maintenance issues and safety hazards and preparing space for programs
Assists in conducting and monitoring recreational program activities, including events, camps, and special programs, in accordance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
Assists with rental management, including booking space, opening and closing facility, and ensuring facility readiness
Perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties including answering the phone, greeting customers, answering patron questions, registering patrons, collecting fees through city policies and procedures
Position is considered essential staff and can supervise a facility and part time employees and volunteers in the absence of a full-time staff member
Driving to meeting locations as well as checking on other parks the site is responsible for
Qualification
Required
Less than a High School diploma; less than 1 year customer service, office support recreation program implementation or related experience
Valid North Carolina Class C Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record, or the ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
CPR/First Aid/AED/EPI certification or the ability to obtain
Preferred
Experience working in a customer service or recreation setting
18 years of age at the time of hire
