Marketing Director of Regional Gold Dust West Properties
Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. is a developer, owner and operator of gaming and entertainment facilities across the United States. They are seeking a Director of Marketing for their Gold Dust West Properties, responsible for overseeing advertising, media, and promotional activities while developing annual marketing strategies and managing departmental budgets.
Responsibilities
Oversee the Advertising, Media, Database/Direct Marketing. Player Services and Promotion/Events
Entertainment activities of the property marketing departments at the Gold Dust West properties
Develop annual marketing strategies and monthly/quarterly program plans
Analyze program performance to evaluate marketing initiatives and the relationship to key business indicators and competitor activities
Create, approve and manage marketing and related departmental budgets and expenditures for all regional properties--this may be performed directly or indirectly through direct and dotted line reports
Review market analysis to determine customer needs and volume/business potential
Manage/develop and monitor marketing staff performance and adherence to establish policies and procedures
Ensure communication mechanisms are in place for all employees
Assist property management staff with special project, events and promotions (as business dictates)
Serve as key property liaison for all marketing-related activities
Serve as key liaison with department vendors and external agencies
Resolve any problems or perceived internal/external guest inconveniences
Direct supervision for Reno Marketing support staff
Dotted-Line supervision of GDW Elko, and Carson City Marketing personnel and related activities
Qualification
Required
Must be fluent in English
Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Marketing or related field or Equivalent Work Experience may be substituted for a degree
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in marketing environment
Ability to multitask in a demanding environment
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Strong database/analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and/or database software programs
Identification that establishes identity
Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
Ability to obtain a Nevada Gaming License/registered with the Nevada Gaming Control Board
Preferred
3-5 years of Supervisory or Management experience preferred; preferably in the hospitality or service industry
