They are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist to manage customer invoicing, payments, and collections while ensuring overall financial accuracy.

Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment posting, and reconciliation
Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments and identify overdue balances
Perform professional and consistent collections outreach via phone and email
Resolve billing discrepancies and customer account issues promptly
Maintain accurate AR records in QuickBooks and Fishbowl Inventory
Reconcile AR subledger to the general ledger
Prepare AR aging reports and provide status updates to management
Apply payments (ACH, checks, wire transfers, credit cards) accurately
Coordinate with sales, shipping, and operations teams to resolve invoicing or order issues
Assist with month-end close related to accounts receivable
Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting best practices
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in accounts receivable and/or collections
Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks (required)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication skills with a professional collections approach
Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines independently
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting reports
High level of integrity and discretion with financial data
Preferred
Experience with Fishbowl Inventory or similar ERP/inventory systems
Manufacturing, firearms, or distribution industry experience
Experience working with high-volume invoicing or B2B collections
