Responsibilities
Design RF switching and wideband linear amplifier circuits for sub-GHz to 10 GHz applications
Apply CMOS switching or class D amplifier design principles to GaN-based architectures
Utilize Keysight ADS and/or AWR Microwave Office for schematic, layout, and verification
Contribute to parameter extraction, PDK optimization, and compact modeling
Perform system-level analysis to define chip requirements and optimize performance
Support design-for-test (DFT) and design-for-manufacturability (DFM) activities
Work closely with Eridan’s GaN device design team and systems engineers
Participate in design reviews and collaborate with foundry partners on material system integration
Contribute to packaging strategies and digital/analog interface solutions
Qualification
Required
MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering (BS with strong relevant experience will be considered)
3+ years of experience in CMOS switching RF amplifier design, class D amplifier design, or RF circuit design
Strong background in circuit design fundamentals with ability to adapt to new material systems
Experience with ADS and/or AWR Microwave Office for RF/analog design
Understanding of RF/microwave circuit theory and system integration
Preferred
Experience with III-V material systems (GaN, GaAs)
Familiarity with parameter extraction, PDK development, or nonlinear modeling
Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or Verilog-A for simulation automation
