Nexans is a company focused on optimizing human and industrial resources in production. The Production Manager will ensure the utilization of Lean Manufacturing principles and manage production in accordance with safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Responsibilities

Manage production according to Safety, Quality and Productivity standards

Actively promote appropriate safety behavior throughout the plant

Keep the production department aware of its environmental impact

Promote strong performance, conduct and adherence to policies and procedures

Promote behavior consistent with our Core Values

Enforce appropriate people management skills

Support and participate in succession planning for production positions

Deploy NEW (Lean manufacturing) throughout production

Analyze manufacturing variances (in term of CONQ, labor, material and energy)

Identify improvement opportunities

Work hand in hand with Quality and Process team to improve the way we work

Work with Plant Manager to strategically establish the production road map

Participate in budget planning and management for production

Supervise Production Supervisors, Zone Leaders, and New Champion & Training Leader
