Quality Control Technician I

Responsibilities

Independently perform assays and evaluate results for product qualification
Adhere to quality control work instructions
Maintain complete, contemporaneous and accurate records of all work performed
Manage reagents and inventory used for QC testing
Participate in continuous process improvement activities
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced quality control process
Must be comfortable working with radioactivity
Develop, revise and review SOPs, qualification/validation protocols and reports
Perform additional job duties as assigned

Required

Up to 2 years' experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to learn and acquire new molecular biology skills to perform complex assay testing
Understand the quality control process to meet ISO compliance standards
Increase ability to troubleshoot assays and procedures
Provide constructive feedback on QC improvements
Drive and determination
Background in Molecular Biology applications
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and other applications
Positive relationship management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced/change oriented environment
Self-Starter
Driven to perform
Self-directed with minimal management assistance
Able to organize and prioritize a diverse set of responsibilities to ensure that focus on growth and success of company is achieved
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Biology or Biochemistry
