Responsibilities
Support supervisors in promoting and maintaining a safe and compliant work environment
Assist in the implementation, ongoing management of company safety programs & initiatives
Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards
Perform safety observations and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Participate in incident investigations, including root cause analysis and reporting
Support the implementation of corrective actions, follow-up on action items, and ensure adherence to company policies
Provide assistance to third-party compliance consultants as needed
Organize and conduct monthly safety meetings, including the preparation and development of meeting materials
Support the use and administration of safety management software
Assist with meeting customer-specific safety and compliance requirements
Contribute to the industrial hygiene program, including monitoring and data collection efforts
Deliver various safety training sessions upon achieving necessary qualifications & certifications
