Responsibilities
Lead the transition from commissioning to full commercial operations for new BESS assets
Own day-to-day asset performance, availability, and controllability
Optimize participation in energy, capacity, and ancillary service markets
Manage O&M vendors, service agreements, and major remediation efforts
Track budgets, revenues, and performance using operational and financial dashboards
Act as first point of contact for urgent operational or emergency issues
Qualification
Required
4+ years of experience in battery storage operations, asset management, or commissioning
Strong understanding of ISO/RTO market operations (e.g., CAISO, NYISO, ISO-NE, ERCOT)
Experience managing O&M contractors, LTSAs, and warranty claims
Solid commercial and financial acumen with the ability to evaluate asset performance and revenue
Comfortable working with monitoring platforms and data tools (e.g., Power BI, Salesforce)
Willingness to travel for site visits and hands-on operational oversight
