MSCI Inc. is seeking to expand its Index Client Coverage Team in the Western United States with a commercially driven Index Sales Specialist. Responsibilities

Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow MSCI’s Index franchise across the Western U.S
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with asset managers, wealth managers, banks, broker-dealers, pension funds, insurance companies, and other financial institutions
Build and maintain trusted relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within client organizations
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Research, Product Management, Client Service, Legal) to deliver tailored index solutions
Manage the full sales cycle and ensure contract renewals and run-rate retention
Represent MSCI at client meetings, conferences, and industry events
Provide client feedback to help shape product development and strategic initiatives

Required

4+ years of experience in financial services, preferably in client coverage within Index, ETF, or Data sales
Strong passion for business development, client prospecting, and account management
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing complex client relationships
Entrepreneurial, client-focused, and collaborative approach with relentless drive to deliver results
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment; strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
Strong analytical mindset and ability to understand technical products and market trends
Good understanding of capital markets and investment processes
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration

Preferred

Master's Degree, MBA, or CFA designation is a plus
