Employee Health & Benefits Account Associate
Marsh McLennan Agency is a leading provider of business insurance and employee health & benefits solutions. They are seeking an Employee Health & Benefits Account Associate to assist in managing client relationships and support the administration of employee benefits programs.

Responsibilities
Assist in managing client relationships by responding to inquiries, providing information on health and benefits plans, and addressing any issues that arise
Support the Client Manager in the administration of employee health and benefits programs, including health insurance, dental, vision, and wellness initiatives
Maintain accurate client records and documentation, including enrollment forms, plan summaries, and compliance materials
Prepare and analyze reports related to employee benefits utilization, claims, and trends to assist in strategic planning and decision-making
Ensure that all health and benefits programs comply with federal and state regulations, including ERISA, HIPAA, and ACA requirements
Facilitate communication between clients, insurance carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of issues
Assist in the development and delivery of employee training sessions on benefits programs and changes
Participate in special projects related to employee benefits, including open enrollment, plan renewals, and vendor management
Assist with gathering appropriate client information for marketing and implementing new and renewal business, creating spreadsheets and presentations for prospect/renewal meetings, preparing enrollment guides/packets for on-site enrollment meetings, and handling routine plan administration tasks (e.g., new enrollees, changes, and terminations)
Assist with any claim and plan administration problems/issues and basic correspondence with clients and companies once the agent license is obtained
Conduct filing, file set-up, and file maintenance in Agency Management and Imaging Systems
Qualification
Required
Must have Life & Health license or obtain within 90 days of employment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to research and analyze problems independently

Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred
Previous experience in employee benefits, insurance, or account management is a plus
Knowledge of health and benefits regulations is a plus
