The role involves building and managing a software development organization, delivering critical projects, and influencing executives and technical leaders across organizational boundaries.

Responsibilities
As a Director of the software engineering division, you will apply your extensive knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications
Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and envision future improvements to the architecture
Qualification
Required
Extensive knowledge of software architecture
Experience managing software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications
Ability to build enhancements within an existing software architecture
Ability to envision future improvements to the architecture
Demonstrated leadership, communication, and people management skills
Deep understanding of product development
Experience managing teams consisting of software engineers of all levels and software development managers
Comfortable with managing and providing technical leadership at developing software that interacts closely with core components like Compute, Networking and Storage
Ability to work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
