Account Executive - Financial Services

They are looking for an Account Executive to generate interest in their services through proactive outbound prospecting, engaging with clients, and driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities

Generate annual recurring revenue (ARR), including both new and upsell business
Prospect and win new accounts, typically small to mid-sized financial firms
Self-source at least 3 opportunities each month
Contact company-supplied MQLs upon receipt and work with SDRs to engage prospective clients quickly
Work with our Corporate Sales Team to develop opportunities and accelerate revenue acquisition and growth
Use sales cadences within Salesforce.com to engage prospects by phone, email, and virtual meeting platforms
Utilize a proven, consultative sales process to assess business needs and product fit with both prospects and clients
Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with clients and introduce new ideas and upsell opportunities
Complete administrative tasks and necessary follow-ups required on client orders, collaborating with other departments to ensure orders are fulfilled to customer satisfaction
Investigate and resolve customer concerns
Collaborate with senior sales leadership to foster a culture of continuous process improvement
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum of two years of sales experience
Naturally curious and seeks to understand a client's situation and context
Possesses strong business acumen and has the ability to build a financial case with business owners, but the flexibility to shift to operational benefits with other stakeholders, e.g., marketing personnel
Conducts open-ended discovery that can run multiple paths
Knows how to communicate professionally by email, phone, and virtual platforms to run discovery sessions and present marketing solutions effectively
Can learn and implement industry and product information quickly
Demonstrates professional assertiveness to create and withstand construction tension and maintain equal status with buyers
Clear track record of achieving high-performance sales growth in business-to-business sales
Strong sense of urgency and ability to translate it into activity
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms, with Salesforce.com experience preferred
Ability to work in a hybrid work environment (both in office and work from home) and willingness to travel as needed

Preferred

Experience in marketing or financial/retirement planning industries preferred
Salesforce.com experience preferred
