Deputy Manager, Logistics Program Management, Specialist FIFA World Cup 2026
FIFA World Cup 2026™ is seeking a Deputy Manager, Logistics Program Management, Specialist to be a key member of the logistics team. This role involves supporting central logistical operations during the planning and delivery phases, coordinating activities across the supply chain, and ensuring seamless logistics operations throughout the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Responsibilities
Assist the Manager, Logistics Contract Management in overseeing the implementation of the logistics program, ensuring all logistics activities are executed according to plan
Help ensure all logistics components are integrated across the various workstreams, venues, and service providers
Help manage logistics resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient delivery of logistics services
Monitor project timelines and milestones to ensure logistics activities are completed on time and within budget
Support the identification and resolution of potential delays or resource shortages, ensuring that logistics operations run smoothly throughout the event
Proactively identify potential risks or challenges in logistics operations and work with the Manager to develop solutions and contingency plans
Support real-time adjustments to logistics operations as needed to address unexpected delays, changes in event schedules, or last-minute requests
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that any operational issues are swiftly identified and resolved to minimize disruptions
Support the collection, analysis, and reporting of logistics data to provide insights on performance, cost-efficiency, and operational improvements
Help prepare regular status reports on logistics programme progress, milestones, and challenges for senior management
Support Central Logistics operations for the FIFA World Cup 2026., including program management, development, implementation and support of Logistics Coordination Centre (LCC)
Support with contract management of the Official Logistics Service Provider (LSP) and other Logistics equipment suppliers to ensure adherence to contractual KPIs and service levels
Support on the overall planning, implementation, operational process across Central Logistics and LCC operations to achieve a seamless supply chain
Assist in analyzing supply chain data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for optimization, providing actionable insights to the Logistics team
Generate regular and ad hoc reports on Logistics planning progress, budgets, and logistics to support management decisions, including daily/weekly logistics situational reporting
Support with implementation of technological solutions and digital platforms to streamline logistical processes, enhance tracking, and improve real-time communication
Help create and maintain user guides, step-by-step instructions, and training materials for the Logistics team
Produce and contribute to the development of presentations and visual aids for stakeholder communication on Logistics planning processes and updates
Assist with monitoring and managing the Central Logistics budget
During key event periods, redeploy into the Logistics Coordination Center (LCC) to monitor and ensure the real-time execution of logistics operations. Document best practices and procedures to ensure clear tracking and transfer of knowledge
Participate in outreach programs, as required, intended to educate stakeholders on tournament time operations
Support on-ground logistics operations if required, possibly travelling to other locations
Qualification
Required
Education in Logistics, Supply Chain, Data Analysis, Data Management, etc…
Minimum of 1-2 years of overall work experience
Strong customer service focus
Excellent analytical skills and ability to make decisions independently and within a team environment
Extremely high attention to detail
Team player, comfortable in upward/downward communication and wanting to go the extra mile
Willing to work to complex, tight, immovable timelines while maintaining a positive attitude, exhibiting patience, persistence, and experience working in a multi-cultural, multi-national environment
Fluent in English
Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project), planning software, and online collaboration tools
Familiar with Microsoft PowerBi: able to obtain data and create dashboards
Able to learn new software tools and train others
Preferred
Experience in Events or Supply Chain is a plus
Spanish is a plus
