Customer Relations Account Specialist
AWP Safety is a rapidly growing national safety services provider committed to protecting our customers’ people, businesses, and time. The Customer Relations Account Specialist is responsible for delivering excellent service, focusing on accurate invoicing, ensuring timely payments, and collaborating across all levels to achieve organizational goals.

Responsibilities
Enter high volumes of data into the various systems timely and accurately for billing purposes
Adjust and handle billing discrepancies and rejections timely and accurately
Validate, verify, and compare contract agreements as needed
Provide excellent customer service and provide customers with a positive experience
Support the team in securing timely payments from customers
Act as a resource for other functions within AWP
Answer phones and respond to inquiries using a professional and courteous demeanor
Provide general office support and peer training as requested
Comply with all AWP policies, procedures, and safety requirements
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
Strong customer service skills
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and terminology; strong math skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Intense focus on accuracy and attention to detail; organized
Problem-solving skills
Critical thinking skills
Demonstrate high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills
Outgoing & assertive personality – not afraid to approach individuals
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Products (Excel, Word)
Preferred
3-5 years AR/Billing experience
Experience with American Contractor, Prelude, Microsoft Great Plains, and Salesforce software
