Integrated Photonics Application Engineer
HyperLight is at the forefront of the commercialization of thin-film lithium niobate integrated photonics. The Application Engineer will support custom projects, guiding customers through the MPW lifecycle and coordinating with internal teams to ensure successful deployment of the TFLN photonic technology.

Responsibilities
Serve as the technical point of contact for customers participating in MPW runs
Manage MPW schedules, PDK, and deliverables
Assist customers with PDK usage, layout reviews, DRC, and tapeout submission
Coordinate with internal teams on mask preparation, process compatibility and wafer testing
Drive continuous improvement in MPW processes and documentation
Support customer onboarding and training sessions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Optics, Photonics, or a related field
Proven experience in semiconductor/optics/photonics industry; MPW or PDK experience a plus
Familiarity with basics of microwave circuits and components, electro-optic modulators, layout tools (e.g., KLayout), mask preparation and GDS flows
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Comfortable working with external customers and cross-disciplinary teams
Authorization to work in the US is required
