Procedural Coordinator – GI Practice – Center for Community Health – Days

The Procedural Coordinator will provide support to the Gastroenterology and Hepatology practice by coordinating procedures and ensuring service excellence for patients and internal partners.

Responsibilities
Provide support to the Gastroenterology and Hepatology practice
Coordinate procedures for and between multiple subspecialties
Proactively coordinate with the pre-surgical testing lab, radiology, referrers, and finance to obtain all required documentation and supplies prior to the procedures
Enforce and execute appropriate Operating Room scheduling documentation and policies and procedures
Build and maintain relationships with proceduralists and their offices
Ensure service excellence is provided to patients, customers and other internal partners
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of surgical scheduling experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree
Previous experience supporting GI patients
