Assistant Professor-Design and Creative Technology
The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) is a highly selective institution recognized for its academic excellence. They are seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Music Technology to teach courses, coordinate the Music Technology minor, and advise students, with a focus on developing new courses and fostering student skills in this field.

Responsibilities
Teaching courses in Electronic Music and Interactive Music Programming
Coordination of the Music Technology minor
Advising students in the Music Technology minor
Developing new courses related to Music Technology
Teaching courses outside of the Music Technology program as needed
Qualification
Required
A PhD in Music Technology or a related field at time of appointment. (ABDs will be considered only if the degree will be completed prior to the start date)
College-level teaching experience in Music Technology
A record of relevant scholarly research, professional and/or creative activity
Preferred
Demonstrate excellent teaching skills in the context of an undergraduate curriculum, where students' skills are introductory
Have experience developing curricula and administering academic programs
Be positioned to help students navigate the professional landscape, and pursue internship and career opportunities in the region (New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania)
