Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers using AWS, Apache Iceberg, and Snowflake
Implement data modeling patterns, including 3NF, dimensional models, SCD Type 2, and CDC
Perform source-to-target data mapping and ensure data integrity across pipelines
Develop and operate ingestion and transformation pipelines using AWS Glue, DMS, Lambda, EC2, Transfer Family, Upsolver/Qlik Talend Cloud, dbt, and Snowflake
Implement incremental loads, late-arriving data handling, reprocessing, and performance optimization
Orchestrate workflows using Step Functions, Dagster, Glue Workflows, and EventBridge
Build Python-based data APIs using AWS Lambda and API Gateway to expose curated data products
Implement secure, performant access patterns including filtering, pagination, caching, and cost controls
Maintain data contracts, documentation, and catalog integration
Implement data quality, reconciliation, and validation rules using DataGaps and custom checks
Enforce governance using AWS Lake Formation, AWS DataZone, AWS Glue Catalog, and Informatica IDMC
Apply enterprise security standards including encryption, masking, tokenization, and RBAC/ABAC
Monitor and optimize performance, reliability, and cost across pipelines and services
Develop runbooks, alerts, and support on-call operations as required
Collaborate with Advanced Analytics, MDM, CIM, and ECM teams to align data products with enterprise needs

Required

Strong SQL and Python for data engineering and API development
Hands-on experience with AWS data services, Apache Iceberg, Snowflake, and dbt
Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
Solid understanding of data modeling, medallion architecture, data governance, and observability
Experience working in agile, collaborative, enterprise data environments
