Regional Sales Manager
Index Search is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for Industrial & Municipal Water Solutions. The role involves managing and expanding the company's business across the Midwestern United States, focusing on supporting partners in specifying and selling water filtration equipment.
Responsibilities
Partner with sales leadership to develop and execute regional growth strategies aligned with organizational market objectives
Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities for the company
Prepare budgetary quotations, technical proposals, and equipment submittals as required
Collaborate with the Application Engineering team to develop high-specification, value-driven proposals
Support project execution by coordinating with Project Management and Application Engineering teams through project completion
Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with distributors and independent sales representatives
Influence key decision-makers, uncover customer needs, recommend differentiated solutions, and communicate value to stakeholders across target markets
Attend regional trade shows to support distributor partners and promote company products and capabilities
Deliver product training and sales presentations to independent reps, distributors, engineering firms, and other industry influencers
Prepare and present monthly sales forecasts, activity summaries, opportunities, and action plans to the Industrial Business Unit Director
Manage sales opportunities and pipelines using the company CRM system
Support national marketing initiatives by contributing regional market intelligence and supporting materials
Coordinate with Customer Service to ensure timely, accurate communication and order fulfillment
Work with Technical Service to address technical issues related to installed products
Qualification
Required
Experience in sales management, preferably in the industrial or municipal water solutions sector
Strong understanding of water filtration equipment and its applications
Ability to develop and execute regional growth strategies
Proven track record of identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
Experience in preparing budgetary quotations, technical proposals, and equipment submittals
Ability to collaborate with engineering teams to develop high-specification proposals
Strong relationship-building skills with distributors and independent sales representatives
Ability to influence key decision-makers and communicate value to stakeholders
Experience in delivering product training and sales presentations
Proficiency in managing sales opportunities and pipelines using a CRM system
Ability to contribute regional market intelligence to national marketing initiatives
Strong communication skills for coordinating with Customer Service and Technical Service teams
