Sr. Signal Processing Engineer

Responsibilities

Support the development and fielding life cycle from initial concept definition through detailed design, development, and qualification testing in the field and at customer support locations
Work within a small, tightly focused team to accomplish assigned tasking/milestones
Support a team of systems engineers in accomplishment of requirements traceability, capability definition in an iterative development environment
Review the outputs of systems analysis, ensuring the results can be used for the intended purpose
Support and attend technical inspection reviews and technical interchanges in support of the program

Required

Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
Experience with signal processing design and application
Experience with signal modulation application, Experience with communication links
Experience with software development (Python, C/C++ or related languages preferred), Experience working projects, and/or programs consisting of Ground-related SE, SW development, and IV&V functions
Active and transferable U.S. government issued DOD TS/SCI with Ability to Obtain Special Access security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred

Experience using MATLAB or X-MIDAS or related languages for algorithm prototyping and simulation
Experience with Agile principles, to include Agile systems engineering practices and understanding of Agile roles
Experience designing for and implementing algorithms on software-defined radios
Experience developing using git and Jira and developing with Python and Java
Experience developing on Linux operating system, Experience developing with Redhawk
