Investigate and resolve denied claims from urgent care services
Contact worker's compensation carriers via portals or phone to secure payment
Work from a claims queue, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution
Collaborate with a small, supportive team to meet departmental goals
Utilize software such as Cerner, DocuTap, and Waystar/Zirmed for claim management
Qualification
Required
Experience in insurance follow-up, including contacting payors and managing medical collections
Strong attention to detail and a team-oriented mindset
Proactive and eager to learn with a desire to grow professionally
Preferred
Background in physician practices is preferred; urgent care or worker's compensation experience is not required
