They are looking for an Associate legwear designer who is passionate about legwear, hosiery, and socks, with responsibilities including design ownership, CAD work, and collaboration with the design team.

Responsibilities

Design ownership over selected licensed brands and assigned to you based on your aesthetic and creative strengths, responsible for CADing full seasonal collections
CAD work for various private label accounts, typically fun prints with understanding of brand DNA
Strong eye for trend and valuable market research
Work closely with design director and senior designers with creative freedom throughout process
Minimal communication with China, but important to know how they operate, problem solve when technical or timing setbacks arise
Work closely with product development team so they properly develop your design the way you envision
Primarily design in Illustrator with minimal retouching in Photoshop

Required

1-3 years of industry experience
Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
Excellent time management skills
Strong project management skills

Positive team player
