Associate Director, Account Management (Retail Media Network)

Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of strategic campaigns for a set of top-tier clients; own client relationships post-insertion order (IO) and ensure alignment across teams
Manage a team of Account Managers and Senior Account Managers, providing guidance, quality oversight, and career development support
Oversee the full campaign lifecycle across systems (Salesforce, Monday.com, SmartSheet), ensuring accuracy in setup, pacing, optimization, and reporting
Serve as senior escalation point and strategic advisor in client communications, driving QBRs, wrap reporting, and performance storytelling
Lead efforts to improve team workflows, campaign documentation standards, and operational efficiencies that ensure scale
Collaborate with Media, Sales, Analytics, and Creative teams to troubleshoot delivery issues, identify strategic upsell opportunities, and drive continuous improvement
Establish KPIs and benchmarks for account teams and ensure consistent delivery against those goals
Proactively identify and resolve campaign risks or performance issues; ensure teams are empowered with tools and training to respond quickly and effectively
Contribute to business planning, client renewals, and strategic roadmap development in partnership with Sales and senior leadership
Qualification
Required
6–8 or more years of experience in account management, retail media, digital media, or client services, with experience with campaign ownership and team leadership
Experience managing direct reports and mentoring across levels; demonstrated ability to build high-performing, engaged teams
Working knowledge of retail media platforms, digital media KPIs, campaign workflows, and optimization tactics
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with experience influencing both clients and internal stakeholders
Able to manage multiple complex campaigns across teams and accounts
Proficiency in Salesforce, Monday.com, Smartsheet, Excel, and presentation tools such as PowerPoint or Google Slides
Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and operational efficiency
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
