New Grad, Entry LevelDallastown Area School District is seeking a Part-Time, 10-Month Learning Support Paraprofessional for Grades 7-8 at Dallastown Area Middle School. The role involves supporting regular education teachers in delivering services for students with IEPs and working closely with students in various educational settings.

Responsibilities
Working one-on-one or with small groups of students as directed by the teacher
Aiding in supervision of students in both the classroom and the cafeteria
Assisting teachers in presentation and development of learning materials and instructional exercises
Performing routine clerical work
Working with instructional media, office machines, and equipment
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma (or GED equivalent) AND completion of a locally developed assessment
OR, Associate's Degree or higher
OR, at least two years of postsecondary study (48 credit hours or more)
Completion of at least 20 hours of staff development activities related to assignment each school year
Child-centered, warm, and receptive to children
Ability to carry out oral and written communications/instructions and work cooperatively with others
Acceptable record of attendance
